[EN] THEDEADYOUTH are a five-piece from Besançon, eastern France. The result is the culmination of its members’ various musical endeavours over the years. The guys are all multi-instrumentalists, enabling them to switch between synthesisers, guitars, percussion, piano, saxophone and singing on their recordings and live set-up. “Bruises Roses” is taken from their first full-length album “Heron Birth” which has been made available exclusively to Parissoweto.

THEDEADYOUTH’s sound is a confluence of seventies rock, jazz, pop and electro. Bands like Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Suuns and Liars are cited as some of their primary influences. “Heron Birth” marks the end of an era for THEDEADYOUTH, who are already working on the next album, are now venturing into a more experimental, synthetic, dark pop approach for their new material.

The result of their musical pursuits embody the drive behind this project: continuously seeking, creating, experimenting, renewing. THEDEADYOUTH’s musical compass is therefore their curiosity, as they are constantly immersed in the quest to find new sounds, as much as music fans as musicians.
