[EN] JC Satàn is a psychedelic-garage-pop five-piece from Bordeaux (although two of its members hail from Turin, Italy, to be precise). Reminiscent of the Pixies and similar happy-sad soundtracks from Seattle’s heyday, JC Satan navigate effortlessly through grungy subversion and pop sensibility. The group released its first two albums on the American label Slovenly Recordings and released several split EPs with the groups Piresian Beach and Le Pêcheur. Growing support and critical acclaim came with the release of their third album, “Faraway Land”, on the French-Belgian label Teenage Menopause.

Their fourth album is due to drop in September 2015. In the meantime, Parissoweto is very pleased to give you a taste of a track off their most recent 7”, “Italian Summer”.

[FR] JC Satàn est un groupe de garage-pop psychédélique de Bordeaux (bien que, pour être précis, deux d’entre eux viennent de Turin, en Italie). Évoquant les Pixies et d’autres sons doux-amers de Seattle à son âge d’or, JC Satàn passe avec facilité d’un grunge subversif à une pop sensible. Le groupe a sorti ses deux premiers albums sur le label américain Slovenly Recordings et a également sorti plusieurs EP en collaboration avec Piresian Beach et Le Pêcheur. C’est avec la sortie de leur troisième album “Faraway Land” sur le label franco-belge Teenage Menopause, que le groupe rencontre un soutien et un succès grandissant.

Leur quatrième album sortira en septembre 2015. En attendant, Parissoweto est très heureux de vous proposer un extrait de leur dernier EP “Italian Summer”.
